long hot Summer days. GOLD MEDAL Bitter Category,
Peterborough Beer Festival 2001. GOLD MEDAL Bitter Category, Peterborough
Beer Festival 2002. BRONZE MEDAL Overall Champion,
Peterborough Beer Festival 2002. WINTER SESSION BITTER (3.8%) - A tasty session bitter especially brewed for those long Winter's nights. DECK-AID (4.0%) - Specially commissioned to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Charter, Peterborough's award winning beer barge. Blonde in colour using two new American hops, Santiam and Horizon, giving a hoppy citrus taste. LORD ANCASTER (4.0%) - A golden ale remembering the alleged Hull "spy trawler" Lord Ancaster, spotted by the Soviet Northern Fleet in Dec 1952 off Cape Terebersky near Soviet submarines. BRUTUS (4.0%) - A pale ale brewed with German lager hops, but hopped the English way. BARDIA (4.0%) - An English pale ale brewed with German lager hops. SLINGSHOT (4.2%) - A golden beer with a slight taste of grapefruit, hopped totally with Fuggles and Goldings hops SLIPWAY (4.2%) - A fresh citrus tasting golden ale, hopped with American Mount Hood hops. BRONZE MEDAL Premium Bitter Category, Peterborough Beer Festival 2003. REFIT (4.2%) - Hoppy and bitter first brew from the Little Bytham Brewery using Slipway grist but hopped with English First Gold RED SQUALL (4.4%) - A rich red beer full of fruit and malt with a good hop character and aroma from Mount Hood hops. PREMIUM BITTER (4.4%) - Wonderful traditional bitter, very fruity and well hopped. ENGLAND EXPECTS (4.6%) - Special ale brewed to celebrate each Trafalgar Day 21st October, and significant English sporting events such as football European and World Cups, and of course the Rugby World Cup and Six Nations. A golden celebratory ale with peachy nasal notes. SILVER MEDAL Best Bitter, Peterborough Beer Festival 2005. BLACK SQUALL (4.6%) - A traditional porter style beer with a smooth bitter aftertaste. DISTANT GROUNDS (5.2%) - A traditional IPA, well hopped bitter. WHITE SEA (5.2%) - A pale beer with grapefruit and citrus taste from the Chinook and Mount Hood hops used, very drinkable and another Gold Medal winner. GOLD MEDAL Retford 1st Beer Festival. GOLD MEDAL Strong Ale Category, Peterborough Beer Festival 2002. SILVER MEDAL Overall Champion, Peterborough Beer Festival 2002. ST. GEORGES BEER (??) - Brewed each year to celebrate St. George's Day FESTIVE ALE (3.9%) - A Christmas golden ale with added White Port ROUNDEL (4.0%) - Brewed especially for and available only at the Bourne Festival BLACK FUNNEL (5.0%) - A wonderful strong mild using five different malts with roast malt for character. Brewed for CAMRA Milds in May SHIPWRECK (5.0%) - A blonde beer, brewed not unlike Bear Island with half a pint of White Port added. One could go overboard THE DEEP (5.4%) - Darker than the famous stout with a smooth liquorices flavour HOMEWARD BOUND (6.0%) - A well balanced drinkable beer that creeps up on you KINGSTON TOPAZ (4.2%) - BRONZE MEDAL Leicester Beer Festival 2005. A 100% Golden Yellow Ale, with a hoppy aroma. |
