The brewery started brewing on the 28th November 1998 in a converted garage at the Brewer's house in Grantham.

Latest News - Demand continues to increase and the current capacity of 30 barrels each week does not meet demand. Therefore, Robert is looking expand to the capacity of the brewery. Plans are in development to undertake a wholesale restructuring of the brewery, including moving the storage cellar to to a new facility, enabling greater storage capacity.

Trade grew nicely so expansion and a move came in August 2001 from a two and a half barrel plant to a ten barrel plant, with a capacity of thirty barrels per week.

Due to increasing demand the brewery is running at full capacity, therefore Brewer Robert is looking to buy two fermenting vessels to increase capacity from 30 to 50 barrels per week and will need to expand to a 20 barrel brewery in the next 12 - 18 months

Newby Wyke Brewery is situated at the rear of the Willoughby Arms, Station Road, Little Bytham where at least three of the brewery beers can be sampled. What used to be old cottages and stables are now a magnificent purpose built brewery overlooking wonderful countryside.
